Artist Note

Exploring the inner landscapes of mind and spirit this aerial and atypical work captures a moment where the past and future intertwine themselves around the colors and sounds of the universe. A lone musician floats in the center of a psychedelic landscape encased within a spiral galaxy that gradually dissolves into a piano keyboard. They are one and the same as the music and the maker become a single frequency. From his mind erupts a fountain of color and space that bleeds into the surrounding cosmos creating new realities with every note played. This piece is a visual journal of the total immersion that occurs when an artist stops playing the instrument and begins to be played by the universe. I wanted to show that the vibration of sound is a physical force that can bend the architecture of space and time into a harmonious spiral. It is a testament to the creative spark that resides in every soul which has the power to birth entire galaxies through the simple act of expression. By witnessing this celestial performance we are reminded that we are all composers of our own reality.
