Artist Note

Eyes of the Mind records a visionary journey through two distinct segments of the celestial realm. In the upper half an angel of fire greets a cosmic voyager in front of a swirling spiral galaxy to begin the initiation into the higher planes. This guardian of light then leads the seeker of inner truth down into the land of cosmic debris which is guarded by a formidable psychedelic demigod. This piece is a visual journal of the obstacles and guardians one must encounter when traveling beyond the physical mind. I wanted to portray the landscape of the soul as a place with its own geography and its own ancient protectors who ensure that only those with a pure frequency can pass through the gates. The transition from the fiery grace of the angel to the intense presence of the gatekeeper shows the weight and importance of our spiritual evolution. Every line of ink serves as a map for the seeker who is brave enough to navigate the vast and beautiful ruins of the subconscious. It is a testament to the fact that our internal universe is populated by entities that guide us toward a deeper understanding of our own divine origin.
