Artist Note
Bridge of Sighs is a visionary recording of a lonely voyager crossing a bridge that floats within the deep reaches of space while seeking the path of enlightenment. Rendered entirely in the meticulous style of pointillism this visual journal captures a weary truth seeker moving between monuments of crystals under the gaze of a crying moon. The surrounding galaxies are intensely filled with millions of stars that form a landscape of floating castles and angels touching the suns. Pathways in the heavens wind past giant moons and silent space ships to show that the universe is a bustling highway of spirit and energy. This work is a testament to the long and often solitary journey we must take to find the ultimate truth of our existence. By placing the traveler on a bridge I wanted to show that we are always in a state of transition between where we have been and where we are going. Every tiny point of ink represents a soul or a star or a thought that lights the way through the darkness of the unknown. It serves as a reminder that even when we feel alone we are surrounded by the magnificent architecture of the divine.Â
